Job Duties
The Warehouse Manager oversees the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure materials, tools and equipment are properly received, stored, tracked and distributed to jobsites.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage, organize and maintain warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution of electrical materials, tools and equipment.
· Coordinate with project managers and job foreman to ensure timely delivery of jobsite materials.
· Oversee tool and equipment checkout/return process; maintain accurate logs and arrange repairs or replacements as needed.
· Implement and enforce safety procedures in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
· Work with vendors to minimize downtime and delays.
· Supervise warehouse staff, drivers and/or helpers; provide training and support as needed.
· Maintain cleanliness, organization and security of warehouse and yard areas.
· Oversees maintenance of the office grounds including mowing, weeding, mulching and snow removal.
· Fill-in as needed in warehouse responsibilities to cover absences.
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of previous electrical warehouse management experience.
· Strong knowledge of electrical materials, tools and equipment.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and inventory management systems.
· Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.
· Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
· Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
· Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
