Job Information Pay: $26.00 to $42.18 The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This position is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. If you are hired at American Water your base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as market, geography, skills, education and/or experience. Work schedule Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 or 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On-call rotation of every 3 or 4 weeks. Primary Role Responsible for collecting samples from the treatment plant or distribution system, performing routine waterquality analyses, sample custody, data entry and recordkeeping. Interpret water quality results and initiate chemical dosage changes to treatment process. Responsible for organizing functions and activities related toenvironmental management and water quality for assigned facility. Investigates water quality complaints in thefield and determines course of action needed. Responsible for maintaining all applicable lab certifications,accreditations, or approvals to conduct compliance and process quality control work.Implements the day-to-day collection of water quality samples.
