Job Description

The Junior Designer’s role is to facilitate any design work in the office through providing production

assistance and administrative support with the design team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2 years of experience in residential interior design, focusing on high-end residential design.

This is a full-time position. Our studio is located in the heart of a vibrant Mission Creek neighborhood with a close proximity to SF Design District. We are looking for a motivated self-starter, who is comfortable wearing many hats, to support our growing team.

R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S:

  • Design and Production for all office projects – source materials as directed by designers & principal.
  • Source items, price and research condition
  • Knowledge of space planning, furniture selection and layout.
  • Under the supervision of senior designers generate professional and detailed drawings, project
  • sketches, space planning, floor plans, elevations in CAD or SketchUp as necessary to facilitate
  • concepts and design.
  • Shop, request samples and materials as needed.
  • Produce presentations to illustrate design intent. Assemble presentation boards.
  • Assist at client meetings as requested to provide service and amenities to clients.
  • Procurement, production and installation assistance as needed.
  • Keep updated, accurate and organized project information for each project.
  • Track time daily and noting billable hours.

S K I L L S:

  • Proficiency with Google Drive & Adobe Suite, Photoshop & Illustrator software.
  • 2 year minimum design office experience and proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp.
  • Proficiency with Pinterest, social media formats, video conferencing.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Graphic design and layout skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work productively and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Valid California driver’s license, access to automobile.
  • Enjoy working with others, team player.
