Job Description

Summary of Role:

Traditions of America – a national leader in the development of 55+ lifestyle communities - seeks a seasoned, motivated and talented New Home Sales Associate at our Chesterfield, VA community. As a new home expert, you will be rewarded as you guide home buyers though the exciting journey of building their new construction home from start to finish. Must have prior experience selling new construction homes. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills, a "winner's" attitude, and demonstrate 3-5 years of success selling new homes.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

The New Home Sales Associate is responsible for achieving all community sales goals, including generating traffic, agreement of sales, customer satisfaction and serving as the main point of contact to deliver an exceptional customer experience from first visit to settlement. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Traffic Generation:

  • Consistently engaging the database, both new incoming leads and existing leads. A strong understanding of database filtering and the ability to generate customer lists to statically tailor outreach is required.
  • Conduct regular appointment setting activities.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to plan traffic generating activities.
  • Analyze engagement for mass e-marketing campaigns to hone prospect outreach.
  • Log call volume each week in database.

Customer Service:

  • Create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere in the Welcome Center.
  • Dedicate yourself to learning more about the motivations, dissatisfactions, future promise, and objections for every prospective customer.
  • Maintain correspondence with the customer throughout the entire homebuying journey.

"A Mindset of Excellence":

  • Monitor and maintain appearance of Model Homes, community entryway, and signage.
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, DocuSign, and CRM systems.
  • Strong knowledge of resale programs and financing options.
  • Complete competitive analyses of surrounding communities and be knowledgeable on competitors offering.
  • Effectively sell inventory when applicable, including Express Homes and Designer Model Homes.

Team Coordination:

We view the sales process at Traditions of America as highly immersive. The New Home Sales Associate must be adept at involving other team members in the new home buying decision process.

Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years of new home sales experience.
  • Experience with CRM.
  • Must have a VA Real Estate License
  • Must be willing to work overtime occasionally at the last minute; working regular weekend hours is required. Days off will be either Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday/Friday.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Homebuilding and the Partners. The New Home Sales Associate will work with sales administrators, prepare for weekly sales and community team meetings, customer meetings, and production updates. The New Home Sales Associate also works with the on-site construction team on the status of homes and delivery schedule.

Compensation:

As a full-time employee of a nationally recognized home builder, this is a direct sales position with some of the highest compensation potential in the industry. This is a salaried position, with commission potential. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $300,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
