Our Client a well known Investment Bank i seeking a Regulatory Exam SME in their New York, New York Location

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join the Office of Regulatory Relations team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in financial markets and regulatory compliance, with a proven ability to manage regulatory exams and articulate complex issues with clarity and precision. This role requires strong project management skills, exceptional writing abilities, and a collaborative approach to working across business lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support regulatory exams and inquiries, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
• Provide contextual expertise on market activities and how they relate to regulatory expectations.
• Draft clear, concise, and accurate responses to regulatory requests and formal communications.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across Compliance, Legal, Risk, and business lines to gather relevant information and insights.
• Monitor regulatory developments and contribute to firm-wide readiness and response initiatives.
• Manage and execute projects related to regulatory relations and market conduct.
• Maintain strong attention to detail while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a financial services regulatory, compliance, or market-facing role.
• Strong understanding of U.S. and global financial markets, including trading and capital markets operations.
• Experience participating in or managing regulatory exams and reviews.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
