Open Systems Technologies is currently looking for a Trading/Quant Engineering Recruiter to join our team in New York, NY.

Compensation: $80-100K

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for trading, quant, and engineering roles (e.g., algorithmic trading, quant devs, core systems engineers)
• Build strong pipelines using direct sourcing, referrals, events, and advanced search techniques
• Screen and assess candidates for technical and quantitative acumen
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring needs and improve processes
• Utilize data-driven insights to track hiring metrics and improve funnel efficiency

Qualifications:

• 3–7+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on quant finance, HFT, trading, or tech
• Proven success hiring for quant researchers, developers, or trading roles at hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, or banks
• Deep understanding of technical recruiting and familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, JobDiva, or equivalent ATS platforms
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
• Exposure to quantitative disciplines (e.g., CS, physics, math, statistics) is preferred
